About Hack The Product
Hack The Product is a product hackathon for product people in Indonesia. The event consists of a Product Competition and Pitching Day and is open to anyone who wants to improve their skills in analyzing products from a startup/company partner of Apiary.
Individuals or groups can register to participate and create a presentation that will be presented and evaluated by a jury. Through this event, participants will learn about users, compare with competitors, and find practical solutions to real-life problems faced by the company in product development.
GoTo (PT. GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk) is an Indonesian-based digital technology ecosystem company formed as a merger between Gojek and Tokopedia.
GoTo started as a transportation-based technology company under the legal entity PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa, operating under the name Gojek. The company then changed its name to GoTo after the inclusion of Tokopedia, one of the largest online marketplaces in Indonesia, in 2021.
GoTo offers services such as two-wheel transportation (GoRide), four-wheel transportation (GoCar), on-demand logistics (GoSend), and online marketplace (Tokopedia). Additionally, there is GoTo Financial, which oversees digital payments (GoPay), cloud-based point of sale (MokaPOS), and payment gateway (Midtrans).
In 2022, GoTo became the first Decacorn company to go public on the Southeast Asian stock exchange, with an initial public offering value of IDR 15.8 trillion (approximately US$1.1 billion), making it the largest IPO in Indonesia, the third largest in Asia, and the fifth largest in the world during the January-April 2022 period.
GoTo is one of the five companies with the largest market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), with a market capitalization of IDR 452 trillion as of April 11, 2022.Take GoTo’s Challenge!

The number of orders fulfilled within the city (intracity) in Surabaya is still relatively small, how can we increase the number of intracity orders in Surabaya?
* Intracity order = purchased orders that is coming from Surabaya buyer to Surabaya seller
Participants are only allowed to create a pdf document in the format; All margins are 0.3, headline in Bold Arial 11, text in Arial 10, and spacing 1.15 standard. Document must includes:
- Problem Statement
Understand the scope of the problem that has been informed at the beginning. Find out what the current condition of Tokopedia is and the behavior of the user actors behind this problem. Find existing problems and pain points, and select which area to focus. Briefly describe why the problem statement is chosen above others.
- Proposed Solution
From the problems that you've identified and selected, explain and describe what is the right set of solutions to overcome these problems. How can your propose solutions solve the problems and produce an impact on its users, what is the rationale, and how to measure the impact & success of the solution.
Define the Minimum Viable Product and how are you going to break the solution into phases until you have reached the ultimate goal. Explain how you prioritize which to be delivered first and why.

About The Jury of Hack The Product 5
Product Manager Lead
Having an Engineering Management background from the Institut Teknologi Bandung and over 5 years of experience, Patih is currently a Product Manager Lead at Tokopedia. He started his career in Tokopedia as a summer intern in the Fintech department and continued his journey in business development in the fulfillment Department.
Ahmad Hilman Prasetya
Hilman is an experienced Product Manager at Tokopedia handling the Tokopedia Affiliate program. Previously, he has worked as an associate product manager at a Tech Travel company and earlier as a product researcher at Gojek. He graduated with an international double degree in computer science and information technology from the University of Indonesia and The University of Queensland.
Vania Edra C Naomi
Associate Product Manager
Certified in Python, Programming, and Design Thinking for Innovation by The University of Michigan and The University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Vania is currently an Associate Product Manager at Tokopedia, handling Product Personalization and Experimental Platform. She graduated in Industrial Engineering from the University of Parahyangan and has previously worked as a Product Manager in a Media Industry and Product Designer at EduTech Platform.
